Real-World Project Based Technology Education
RAD Academy provides project based Technology Education Curriculum for technology courses, all core subjects and after school and technology camps. Mapped to a range of international standards, our curriculum is tailored to the needs of the individual learner, or the school that we would be partnered with. We follow a Student-Centered model of teaching where the goal is empowering learners to understand the concept.
Introduction to programming concepts
Outcomes:
- Code 3 games.
- Introduction to Problem Solving.
- Understand the basics of:
a. Logical thinking

Hardware Operating Systems & logical Thinking
Outcomes:
- Understand computer components
- Understand the purpose of an O/S.
- Understand Digital Citizenship
- Understand how logic is used in technology
- Own a Microcomputer
- 6 Months
Physical Computing
Outcomes:
- Understand the basics of electronics.
- Understand the workings of:
– Robotics
– Electronic components
– Automation. - Complete an introductory project based on 4IR.
- 6 Months
Web and App Development
Outcomes:
- Develop a Digital Citizenship Infographic.
- Understand Web & App development.
- Complete an introductory project of building and publishing a Website or App.
- 6 Months
Technological Design
Outcomes:
- Understand the use of design applications.
- Understand concepts of Design Thinking in problem-solving.
- Complete an introductory project using key design applications with a focus on 3D Printing.
- 6 Months
Tech-Preneurship
Outcomes:
- Learners collaborate with other RAD learners from their stream to solve a
problem. Each learner brings what they learned in R3** and is a Subject
Matter Expert in that area. The main objective is working with a team to
achieve a common goal
